This privacy policy aims to give you information on how INEOS Grenadiers' Shop collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you sign up to our newsletter, purchase a product, open an account with us, or take part in a competition, for example.

This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

  1. THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We do not collect any special categories of personal data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). TEXT MARKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We are using a text messaging platform, which is subject to the following terms and conditions. By opting in for our text marketing and notifications, you agree to these terms and conditions.


By entering your phone number in the checkout and initialising a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.


Your phone number, name, and purchase information will be shared with our SMS platform "Klaviyo". This data will be used for sending you targeted marketing messages and notifications. Upon sending the text messages, your phone number will be passed to a text messages operator to fulfill their delivery.
If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out. Message and data rates may apply.

OPTING OUT

You have the option to unsubscribe from our marketing e-mails through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every e-mail we send to you, or by contacting the Customer Services team at concierge.ineosgrenadiers@castore.co.uk. You also have the option to unsubscribe from our text messaging by following the instructions in the text message or contacting the Customer Services team at concierge.ineosgrenadiers@castore.co.uk.

If you want to change the details that you have registered with us or would like to amend your marketing preferences or unsubscribe altogether, this can be changed by contacting our Customer Services team at concierge.ineosgrenadiers@castore.co.uk.

You can ask us to stop sending you our marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at any time.

If you would like to withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications from one of our Business Partners or Third Party Marketing Facilitators, contact us directly at concierge.ineosgrenadiers@castore.co.uk. and we will let them know that you have withdrawn your consent. However, once a Business Partner has received your data, we do not control how they use or share your information, so you should also contact them directly.

Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product/service purchase, warranty registration, product/service experience or other transactions.

  5. Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

We do not allow our Third-Party Core Service Providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

We will only share your personal data with our Business Partners or with Third Party Marketing Facilitators for marketing purposes if you have given us your consent to do so.

  1. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of the third parties who process your data are based outside the UK so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK.

By law, we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for 7 years from the date of their last transaction for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

NO FEE USUALLY REQUIRED

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

WHAT WE MAY NEED FROM YOU

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

TIME LIMIT TO RESPOND

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
